SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Gallaudet University women's outdoor track and field team drove north Saturday to Seth Grover Stadium to participate in the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg University. No team scores were kept at this meet.

First year Joy Watkins (Hockley, Texas) participated in three events; 100-meter dash, 800-meter run and 1,500-meter run and finished 44th (16:04 seconds), 69th (3:02.08) and 62th (6:01.95), respectively.

Senior Midajah Davis (Roanoke, Va.) finished 18th in the shot put with a top toss of 10.93 meters.

First year Mackenzie Schirg (Factoryville, Pa.) finished 30th in the javelin with a distance of 26.89 meters. She also finished 35th in discus with a top toss of 24.38 meters.

Sophomore Olivia Armstrong (Rotterdam, N.Y.) finished 29th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 23.43:15.

Gallaudet will host the 2025 United East Championship Outdoor Track and Field Championship next weekend on May 3-4 at Hotchkiss Field.
