SALISBURY, Md. - The Gallaudet University women's track and field team participated in the Eastern Shore Challenge hosted by Salisbury University here Saturday. No team scores were kept for the meet.
First year
Mackenzie Schirg (Factoryville, Pa.) had a busy day as she participated in three events; javelin, discus and shot put and finished second (29.91 meters), fourth (26.98 meters) and fifth (8.91 meters), respectively.
Senior
Midajah Davis (Roanoke, Va.) finished fifth in the hammer with a top toss of 29.32 meters.
First year
Joy Watkins (Hockley, Texas) participated in the 800-meter run and finished fourth overall with a time of 2:58.16. Watkins placed ninth overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 6:01.18.
BISON TRACKS
- Junior Priscilla Berrios (Miami, Fla.) finished fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 15.28 seconds. Berrios also placed fifth in the 100-meter dash prelims with a time of 31.71 seconds
- Sophomore Olivia Armstrong (Rotterdam, N.Y.) finished sixth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 24.40:42

GU will compete next Saturday, April 26, at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg University.
