SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Gallaudet University men's outdoor track and field team drove north Saturday to Seth Grover Stadium to participate in the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg University. No team scores were kept at this meet.
Sophomore
Andrae' Green (Washington, D.C.) participated in the triple jump and finished eighth. Green's best jump was 13.09 meters.
Senior
Enow Otto Jr. (Silver Spring, Md.) placed 77th in the 100-meter dash with a top time of 12.41 seconds. First year
Ajani Zahira (Fruitland Park, Fla.) was another GU representative who finished 79th with a top time of 12.55 seconds. His time is his new career best.
First year
Joe Bryan (Liberty, Mo.) ran in the 400-meter dash event and finished 46th overall with a time of 58.80 seconds.
Sophomore
Roberto Torres (Miami Gardens, Fla.) crossed the finish line by placing 12th overall in the 3,000 meter steeplechase event with a time of 10:42.08.
First year
Allen Davis (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) finished 56th overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:13.03 seconds.
In the throwing events, senior
Cotis Martinez (Turlock, Calif.) placed 32th in the discus (31.75).
Sophomore
Navar Harris (Charleston, W.Va.) placed 22nd in the shot put with a top toss of 12.27 meters
UP NEXT
Gallaudet will host the 2025 United East Championship Outdoor Track and Field Championship next weekend on May 3-4 at Hotchkiss Field.
