ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Gallaudet University women's swimming team began Atlantic East Conference competition on Saturday, competing against host Cedar Crest College and Immaculata University.
Gallaudet (0-4) participated in 10 out of 14 events. The Bison lost 146-33 to Immaculata and 127-53 to the host Falcons. Immaculata defeated Cedar Crest, 125-83.
First year
Hope MacPeek (Russellville, Ark.) opened the meet for Gallaudet, representing the Bison in the 1,650-yard freestyle, where she placed third overall with a personal-best time of 23:30.63. She also recorded two additional personal bests, finishing third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:57.61 and contributing to the 200-yard freestyle relay, which placed third overall with a time of 2:33.97.
First year
Adelle Patton (Puyallup, Wash.) placed second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:56.07. Patton added a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (1:27.92).
First year
Alma Robinson (Austin, Texas) swam in two events, placing fifth overall in both the 100-yard backstroke (1:40.30) and the 50-yard freestyle (37.07). Both results marked personal bests.

Eliza Peterson (Snellville, Ga.) placed third in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 2:33.97 which are also personal best.

Gallaudet will next travel to Marymount (Va.) University next Saturday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m. for a conference double-dual against the Saints and St. Mary's College of Maryland.
