Gallaudet's Midajah Davis earn fourth USTFCCCA Women's Indoor Track and Field All-Region honor

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the women's indoor track and field all-region honorees for NCAA Division III this season and Gallaudet University senior thrower Midajah Davis (Roanoke, Va.) earned a fourth all-region honor.

Davis has earned all-region honors in the shot put for the past four season (2022, '23, '24, '25). This season Davis' best mark was 12.81 meters (42 feet, 0.25 inches) set at the Frank Colden Invitational on February 8 at Ursinus College. That mark was the fifth best mark in the South Region this season. Davis reached that mark on her first throw in the competition and held on to win the event that featured participants from Division I, II and III programs. Davis' personal record in the shot put during the indoor season is 13.49 meters (44 feet, 3.1 inches) set in 2023. Last month, Davis won the shot put event at the United East Indoor Track and Field championships with a top throw of 12.17 meters (39 feet, 11.25 inches).

Gallaudet competes as a member in the United East Conference in the South Region. The Bison have one of the two all-region honorees from the United East. Davis is joined by Penn St. Harrisburg pole vaulter Tony Pelino (Mid-Atlantic region).

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.

USTFCCCA All-Region honors for indoor track & field and outdoor track & field for NCAA Division III started during the 2015-16 academic year. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards
