PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. – The Gallaudet University men's soccer season concluded Saturday afternoon as the Bison fell to the University of Valley Forge Patriots, 5-1, in a United East game.
Gallaudet (1-13, 1-7 United East) allowed three goals in the first 28 minutes to give Valley Forge (4-10, 2-4-2 United East) an early lead as the Patriots took their 3-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Patriots added two more goals even though Gallaudet outshot them 15-9.
Junior defender 
Jarius Evans (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) scored his first career goal in the 84th minute. Senior midfielder 
Matteo Giansanti (Rome, Italy) led the Bison with nine shots (two on goal), while senior defender 
Troy Holcomb (Fremont, Calif.) added three shots (two on goal).
First-year goalie 
John McCabe (Norwalk, Conn.) made six saves in the loss.
For Valley Forge, Owen Hickok scored two goals and Edras Turcios-Valle added two assists as the Patriots clinched a conference tournament playoff berth.
