WESTMINSTER, Md. - The 2024-25 Gallaudet University women's basketball season got underway here Friday evening in the Rebecca Martin Memorial Tip-Off Tournament hosted by McDaniel College. The Bison fell 75-53 to the host Green Terror in a non-conference game.
Gallaudet (0-1) was led offensively by sophomore guard
Cam Lexow (Abington, Pa.), who finished with 16 points and four assists to go with two blocks and one steal in 35 minutes played. Senior guard
Crystal Salit (Boyds, Md.) tallied 10 points and six rebounds to pace the Bison.
McDaniel (1-0) was led by Elaina Beckett, who finished with a game-high 21 points and five rebounds in the win. The Green Terror filtered through its deep bench as they outscored Gallaudet in every quarter. McDaniel led 35-30 at the half against Gallaudet.
UP NEXT
Gallaudet will play in the consolation round of the Rebecca Martin Memorial Tip-Off Tournament tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 9) at 4 p.m. against Stevenson University (0-1). The Mustangs lost 71-68 to Geneva College on Friday night.
