WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Gallaudet University men's swimming team dropped a 134-76 meet to Wilkes University here on Saturday in a non-conference meet at the Wyoming Valley CYC.
Wilkes (1-8) swept all 13 events over Gallaudet (0-6).
The Bison started the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay as the team of Sethan Rolofson (Gardner, Kan.), Abdullah Alghamdi (Dammam, Saudi Arabia), Bryant Gonzalez (Chicago, Ill.) and Jules Yance (Danville, Ky.) finished with a time of 2:26.17.
Senior Nick Hohrman (Fergus Falls, Minn.) placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (1:01.15), 200-yard freestyle (2:17.79) and 500-yard freestyle (6:50.60).
Freshman Trent Mora (Austin, Texas) finished second in the 50-yard backstroke (32.44) followed by Rolofson close behind in third (36.87). Mora also placed second in the 50-yard freestyle (27.53) and third in the 100-yard freestyle (1:06.15).
Gonzalez finished second in the 50- and 100-yard butterfly with times of 31.28 and 1:13.33, respectively.
Yance placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:30.21).
GU concluded the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay as the team of Gonzalez, Hohrman, freshman David Sanchez (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Mora posted a time of 1:51.61.

- Freshman Aiden Magana (Kyle, Texas) took third in the 50-yard freestyle (29.09)

Gallaudet is off until the New Year and will next swim against at Hood College in Frederick, Md., on January 13, at 1 p.m. to compete against the Blazers and Immaculata, an Atlantic East Conference opponent.
